JEWELRY CARE

What is the jewelry made of?

All jewelry pieces are a mix of stainless steel, gold-plated, and gold-filled components. Although there's use of good durable materials to ensure good quality jewelry, it is not made out of pure gold. Gold-filled jewelry is very long lasting.  It's not meant to last forever, but with proper care, your jewelry can last in good conditions for months and even years! It’s always best to follow the jewelry tips listed at the bottom of this page to ensure longer lasting jewelry.

Necklaces contain stainless steel chains (very durable and resistant).

Jewelry may contain nickel, please be aware when purchasing, not responsible for skin allergies.

Gold-filled: composed of a solid layer of gold bonded to a base such as copper, brass, or sterling silver. More durable and resistant than gold-plated or other pieces. More resistant to water. Although it's more durable, it can still fade with time. With proper care, gold-filled jewelry can last months up to years. Certain oils can affect your jewelry. Avoid applying lotions and perfume over it. Avoid beach or pool water. Always best to follow our jewelry tips listed down below for long lasting beautiful jewelry.

Gold-Plated: (requires care) Very thin layer of gold onto the surface of another metal. Requires proper care. Avoid water and damaging chemicals.

Sterling silver: Metal Alloy. Durable and resistant.

Stainless steel: Steel Alloy. Resistant to corrosion or tarnishing. Durable.

✨Jewelry with rhinestones are more delicate and require care, even if the material is water resistant, avoid water to keep your rhinestones beautiful and intact✨
